Islington has the 3rd largest LGBTQ+ population in the UK and once hosted around 20 queer-specific venues, from bars and restaurants to cinemas. Now, there are only two. Islington’s Pride is a project dedicating to preserving the disappearing history of the LGBTQ+ community in our borough before the stories of ordinary queer people are completely lost.
