Reuse Fair Collections Are Open

Donations are now being collected for the Reuse Fair! Students moving out are likely to find some items that they won't be taking with them, so leave it to us to find your old belongings new homes.

Crockery and toiletries being given away as part of the Reuse Fair

Unwanted items can be given a second life to avoid them going to landfill. This protects our environment from unnecessary waste and short-lived purchases, alongside being financially sustainable for students.

Drop-offs at the Students' Union Hub reception (weekdays):

  • 15th May to 19th May, 9am to 9pm
  • 22nd May to 26th May, 9am to 9pm
  • 29th May to 2nd June, 9am to 9pm
  • 5th June to 9th June, 9am to 5pm

Drop-offs at the Residences Reception (weekends):

  • 27th May to 28th May, 10am to 4pm
  • 3rd June to 4th June, 10am to 4pm

The Nest (SU Hub) filled with donations for the Reuse Fair.

We collect:

  • Clean and washed bedding (duvets, sheets & pillows)
  • Clean and washed towels
  • Clean crockery and kitchenware
  • Unopened, non-perishable food
  • Toiletries or cleaning products (full or half-full only)
  • Stationary
  • Electrical items
  • Books (fiction only)
  • Other useful items (e.g. clothes hangers)

These items will go towards the Reuse Fair in August 2023.
