The ban on sales of new petrol and diesel vehicles from 2030 is being implemented to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Jonathan Grigg, Professor of Paediatric Respiratory and Environmental Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, said the 2030 ban was a “good deal” for those suffering from poor air quality."
