Arrival on campus in the UK
We encourage you to travel to the UK as soon as you can do so. There are huge benefits to attending our campus and you should make every effort to join us in person to make the most of your educational, social, and cultural experience at QMUL, in London and in the UK.
What if I can’t join my programme in-person immediately?
Given the ongoing global pandemic, we anticipate that some students may face difficulties joining us immediately. To mitigate this, in most cases, you will be able to begin your studies online. Students who started our programmes online last year had a great experience doing so. Some programmes, due to regulatory, statutory, professional, or practical reasons, cannot be taught entirely online. If you are joining any of the following programmes, you must join the programme in person by the deadline specified:
Friday 17 September 2021 - MA History and MA History of Political Thought and Intellectual History
Friday 8th October 2021 - Programmes within the Institute of Dentistry
Friday 15th October 2021 - Programmes within the Blizard Institute
Monday 7th February 2022 - All other programmes
Your School or Institute will contact you if you are joining any of the above programmes. If you are unable to join the programme in person by the specified deadline, you should contact the School or Institute as a matter of urgency to discuss your options.
For more information about arriving in the UK, please visit our New Students webpages.
