Earlier that day, the IRA detonated bombs in Lurgan, Co. Armagh and Belfast. These events occurred as the Brooke-Mayhew talks were continuing to develop in early 1992. The residents of Lurgan comment on the bombing’s impact on local employment while Mawhinney discusses the effectiveness of the security policy in Northern Ireland.
