Audio interviews with Nelson McCausland (DUP MLA for Belfast North), Gerry Kelly (Sinn Féin MLA for Belfast North), Alban Maginness (SDLP MLA for Belfast North) and Brian Rowan (security correspondent of the Belfast Telegraph) by Stephen Nolan on 4 September 2012 for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show. On 2 and 3 September rioting broke out in North Belfast after disagreement between members of nationalist and unionist communities on the parades issue. Missiles thrown at the PSNI during the riots left 62 police officers injured. The interviewees discuss these events and examine their wider implications for the peace process. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
