Interview with Theresa Villiers by Andrew Neil for BBC Sunday Politics on 10 March 2013

Published:

Video interview with Theresa Villiers, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, by Andrew Neil for BBC Sunday Politics on 10 March 2013. In July 2012 an announcement was made that the Real IRA, RAAD and a collection of dissident republicans had merged to form one paramilitary organisation, increasingly known as the New IRA. Meanwhile, public disorder arising from unionist protests over the flag issue from December 2012 included attacks on PSNI officers. In this interview Villiers discusses the threat to the peace process posed by dissident paramilitary groups and public disorder in Northern Ireland.
