Audio interview with Terry Spence, Chairman of the Police Federation, by Joel Taggart for BBC Radio Ulster The Nolan Show on 5 September 2013. Earlier that month the PSNI announced that there had been 689 injuries to its police officers since 1 July 2012. Violent protests over issues such as flags and commemorations had contributed to these injuries in the summer of 2013. In this interview Spence discusses the ability of the PSNI to maintain law and order over these issues in the future. The Nolan Show is a daily current affairs programme on BBC Radio Ulster.
