Transcript of an interview with Ronnie Flanagan, former Chief Constable of the PSNI, by David Frost for BBC Breakfast with Frost on 7 April 2002. On 17 March three unidentified persons broke into the PSNI headquarters at Castlereagh, Belfast, raiding confidential files and information. Meanwhile, Ronnie Flanagan retired as Chief Constable of the PSNI as expected on 31 March. In this interview Flanagan discusses the Castlereagh break-in, the development of the PSNI and the actions of the RUC prior to the Omagh bombing. Breakfast with Frost was a weekly BBC current affairs programme.
