Video interview with Rev. Harold Good, former president of the Methodist Church in Ireland, and Fr. Alec Reid, Redemptorist priest, by Harold Attridge for the Yale University Faith and Globalization Initiative in December 2008. Good and Reid acted as important mediators between paramilitary organisations and the British and Irish governments in establishing military ceasefires and, thereafter, decommissioning in Northern Ireland. In this interview they reflect on the religious influence on the Peace Process. The Faith and Globalization Initiative is a collaborative project between Yale University and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation which promotes the potential impact of religious faith on global political, social and economic issues.
