Video interview with Peter Robinson, First Minister of Northern Ireland, by Mark Davenport for BBC Northern Ireland on 22 January 2010. Two days earlier talks between the DUP and Sinn Féin about the devolution of policing and justice powers to the Northern Ireland administration came to an end without agreement. In this interview Robinson discusses the difficulties of coming to an agreement on these issues. He also explores the suggestion of future electoral co-operation with the UUP. On 5 February agreement was reached on the policing and justice powers issues following the involvement of the British and Irish governments in talks.
