Audio interview with Peter Mandelson, former Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, by Nicholas Watt for the Guardian in March 2007. Mandelson reflects on Tony Blair’s policies with regard to the Northern Ireland peace process. Particular focus is given to Blair’s negotiations with republicans. The interview was part of the Guardian’s three day series examining Tony Blair’s involvement in the Northern Ireland peace process. It was released three months before his resignation as British Prime Minister.
