Audio interviews with Pauline Ross, founder and director of the Playhouse artistic centre in Derry/Londonderry, and Victoria Geelan, a performer at the centre, by Barbara Walshe for the RTE Radio 1 series Picking up the Pieces, broadcast on 7 April 2012. The interviewees discuss their efforts to grow understanding of the Northern Ireland conflict and its legacies through dramatic performance. The interviews are part of week six of this broadcast series subtitled Arts and the community. This radio series explores the work of grassroots organisations seeking to promote cross community reconciliation in Northern Ireland through dialogue, recreational activities and local initiatives.
