Ritchie discusses her motivations for becoming involved in politics and surveys contemporary political culture in Northern Ireland. Civic Voices is an international organisation which promotes civic and democratic participation in society among teachers and students. Its International Democracy Memory Bank Project teaches students how to conduct oral histories on their country’s democratic process.
