On 12 May the Sociological Review published an article by Lisa Smyth and Martina McKnight entitled ‘Maternal Situations: sectarianism and civility in a divided city’. In this interview Smyth discusses the contents of the article with particular focus on women’s experiences of interface areas in Belfast. Thinking Allowed is a weekly social science research programme on BBC Radio 4.
