Earlier that day OFMDFM announced a new strategy for building a shared future entitled ‘Together: Building a United Community’. This strategy proposes the removal of peace walls within ten years; the creation of schemes for youth integration and the establishment of a cross-party working group to deal with issues such as flags, parading and reconciliation with the past. Bell and O’Dowd discuss the potential of the new strategy. The View is a weekly current affairs programme on BBC Northern Ireland.
