Transcript of an interview with John Bruton, Irish Taoiseach, by John Humphrys for the BBC television programme, On the Record. Bruton expresses outrage at the recent murder of Garda Jerry McCabe and at the IRA Manchester bombing. He states that as a result of these events Sinn Féin’s involvement in the peace process must be re-evaluated. He stresses the need for an immediate and irrevocable IRA ceasefire.
