In that same month Terence O'Neill, leader of an increasingly divided Unionist Party, called a General Election in Northern Ireland. Fitt ran as a Republican Labour Party candidate for Belfast West in this election. In this interview he discusses the Nationalist Party manifesto and its approach to the issue of partition.
