20th Anniversary Alumni Panel
As we celebrate 20 years of the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre, we were delighted to host an alumni panel on Thursday 8th October, that bought together former student volunteers to share their career journeys and advice with our undergraduate law students.

From communications and policy engagement, to access to justice and court support services, to the commercial legal profession, the panel highlighted the diverse opportunities that a legal education can open up.
Our speakers spoke candidly about making career decisions, overcoming challenges, what AI means for their industries and the role that pro bono work and clinical legal education played in their development.
It was particularly inspiring to hear how their experiences at the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre helped shape their confidence, skills, values, and career aspirations, and to see them giving back to the next generation of students.
We ended the night with the opportunity for our students to network with the panellist and get to know their peers. It was fantastic to see so many stay and continue the conversation after the panel had finished.
A huge thank you to our panellists Rowan Hall, Wiktoria Motylewska and Thad Lettsome, and to Professor Alan Dignam for chairing.
