Details on how to apply for undergraduate courses

How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website.

We also consider students from Malaysia with the following qualifications:

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan (STPM) can be considered for entry into most undergraduate programmes:

    AAA AAB ABB BBB
    AAA AAB ABB BBB
  • Malaysian Matriculation Certificate (Matrikulasi)

    AAA AAB
    3.6 including 4 in relevant subject 3.2 including 4 in relevant subject

Undergraduate Medicine and Dentistry Admissions

Please note that we cannot accept these qualifications for admission to either our MBBS or BDS programmes (but is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes).

Postgraduate

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree from a recognised institution.

UK 1st class degree: Class 1; or 3.7 out of 4.0 CGPA
UK 2:1 degree: Class 2 division 1; or 3.0 out of 4.0 CGPA
UK 2:2 degree: Class 2 division 2; or 2.6 out of 4.0 CGPA
