How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website. 

We also consider students from Slovakia with the following qualifications:

  • Vysvedčenie o maturitnej skúške (Secondary School Leaving Certificate)

This is Queen Mary’s equivalency table for GCE A-Levels and the Slovakian Vysvedčenie o maturitnej skúške:

Please note, the Slovakian Vysvedčenie o maturitnej skúške is not accepted for admission to either our MBBS or BDS programmes delivered in London (but it is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes). However, the Slovakian Vysvedčenie o maturitnej skúške is accepted for admission to our MBBS programme delivered in the Republic of Malta.

How to apply

Postgraduate

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree (180 ECTS credits) (minimum 3 years) from a recognised institution.

UK 1st class degree: 93%; or 1 overall (on 1 to 4 scale, where 1 is highest mark)
UK 2:1 degree: 86%; or 1.5 overall (on 1 to 4 scale, where 1 is highest mark)
UK 2:2 degree: 72%; or 2.5 overall (on 1 to 4 scale, where 1 is highest mark)
