How to apply

Students who have successfully completed A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate will be considered for direct entry onto our undergraduate degrees. We may also consider recognised Foundation qualifications. For individual grade requirements for particular degree programmes please refer to the undergraduate study section of this website. 

We also consider students from Serbia with the following qualifications:

  • Diploma o položenom maturskom ispitu / Diploma o Zavrsenoj Srednjoj Skoli (Secondary School Leaving Diploma/Diploma of Completed Secondary Education)

This is Queen Mary’s equivalency table for GCE A-Levels and the Diploma o položenom maturskom ispitu / Diploma o Zavrsenoj Srednjoj Skoli:

Please note, the Diploma o položenom maturskom ispitu / Diploma o Zavrsenoj Srednjoj Skoliis not accepted for admission to either our MBBS or BDS programmes (but is accepted for all other undergraduate programmes). However, it is accepted for our MBBS programme delivered in the Republic of Malta.

We normally consider the following qualifications for entry to our postgraduate taught programmes: Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma of Higher Education from a recognised institution.

UK 1st class degree: 9 out of 10
UK 2:1 degree: 8 out of 10
UK 2:2 degree: 7 out of 10
