SPITE for Schools

The Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre students deliver free bespoke workshops to groups of young people in local secondary schools. These workshops aim to educate young people on the law and issues surrounding the sharing of intimate images. Each workshop is specifically designed for the needs of the school or organisation, and we can tailor the workshop to adapt for different sized groups of young people (e.g. assemblies, classes, small target groups).

All Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre undergraduate law students running these workshops have received Safeguarding Training, undertaken DBS checks and are supervised on the day by qualified volunteer lawyers. In the academic year 2024-2025, we delivered workshops to over 1500 students to schools in Tower Hamlets and across the country.
