The study is run by a team of researchers at the Queen Mary University of London and supported by a team of experts from relevant fields.
Dr Dominik Zenner (MA MSc MD FHEA MRCGP FFPH)
Chief investigator
Dominik is a clinical reader in Infectious disease and Epidemiology at Queen Mary University of London. He has a background in Infectious disease epidemiology and migration health and is also a general practitioner in East London. He is the main lead and organizer of the COVER-ME study. Dr Tahreem Chaudhry
Senior postdoctoral researcher
Tahreem is a post-doctoral fellow with a clinical background and experience in academic research. Her research interests entail migrant health, long-term conditions, digital health and self-management. Tahreem is the main researcher overseeing all the work packages.
Patricia Tum
Research Project Manager
Patricia is a global health inequalities researcher at Queen Mary University of London. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manitoba (Canada) and an MSc in Global Public Health and Policy from Queen Mary University of London.
She has a background in the social determinants of health and the psychosocial impacts of epidemics/pandemics and NCDs with previous work experience at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and London South Bank University. Patricia plans and implements COVER-ME's research objectives including coordinating the development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, and strategies and assessing progress towards the relevant objectives.

Prof Karina Kielmann
Co-investigator
Karina Kielmann is a professor and head of unit (Equity and Health) in the Department of Public Health Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp. She is a medical anthropologist with 20 years of experience in research, teaching and developing capacity for social science research in international public health settings. She will advise on the qualitative research packages including formative research and co-design of the intervention with target communities.

Dr Vanessa Apea
Collaborator
Vanessa is a consultant physician in Genito-urinary and HIV medicine and a research lead in Sexual Health at Barts Health NHS Trust. Vanessa will be using her experience in promoting health equity in marginalised populations, to support the study. Read more about Vanessa's work here.
Dr Sally Hargreaves
Collaborator
Sally is an Associate Professor in Global Health at St. George's University of London. She leads a multi-disciplinary team with an interest in migrant health and infection, with a particular focus on vaccination, tuberculosis and COVID-19. Read more about Sally's work here
Dr Ines Campos Matos
Collaborator
Ines is a public health doctor working in the Office for Health Improvement Disparities in the Department of Health and Social Care. She is also a consultant Epidemiologist in the COVID-19 Epidemiology team at the UK Health Security Agency, supporting the production of Epidemiological outputs. Ines' research interests are on the contextual determinants of health inclusion of health groups such as refugees in England.
Professor Rhian Gabe

Rhian is a statistician with an academic background in Mathematics and epidemiology and a PhD in using statistical methods to evaluate breast cancer screening using mammography at Queen Mary University of London. Read more about Rhian's work here.
Dr Colin Campbell
Collaborator
Colin is a Public health specialist currently leading the COVID-19 vaccine coverage team in the Immunisation and Vaccine-Preventable Diseases division at UKHSA. His research interests include HIV surveillance and TB Epidemiology which he has explored on a global scale.
