Summer School 2019

Take part in the Geography themed programmes this summer

The Queen Mary Summer School programmes feature a broad range courses, put together by our world-class academics in a variety of disciplines. This year we are delighted to offer two geography themed programmes: 'Migration and Urban Change in London and Paris' (session 1) and 'Timewalkers: early humans, stone tools and environmental change' (session 2).

Session 1 of the Summer School takes place from 1 July to 19 July 2019, and session 2 takes place from 22 July to 9 August 2019. Students are welcome to attend both sessions, or mix and match with other Summer School offerings. So if you’d like to combine an interest in human geography with your love of horror films, you can!

This programme provides students with a creative intellectual immersion into the heart of London and Paris.

Session One: 1 July - 19 July 2019

This module takes you on a journey through time to discover Britain’s Stone Age past.

Session Two: 22 July - 9 August 2019
