GP Tutor: Educator Connect
Connect, collaborate and develop as an educator.
Educator Connect is our new series of in-person half-day workshops (2-4:30pm). Developed in response to feedback from our previous Educator Workshop programme, these sessions provide dedicated time and space to explore the realities of teaching medical students in primary care. Designed to be interactive and discussion-led, Educator Connect offers a deeper dive into educational practice and the challenges faced by today's GP teachers.
Sessions will focus on:
- Practical approaches to teaching in primary care
- Managing common challenges and difficult situations
- Sharing ideas and learning from peers
- Developing your confidence and skills as an educator
These workshops are also an excellent opportunity to build professional networks and engage with a community of passionate medical educators.
Priority is given to clinicians working in practices currently hosting QMUL medical students, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A certificate of attendance will be provided for your portfolio.
We also welcome new ideas for future workshops, please email us at: cbme-event@qmul.ac.uk with your suggestions.
