Profile

I joined the Policy Research Unit in Cancer awareness, screening and early diagnosis as a statistician in 2017. Prior to joining the PRU I completed a BSc, MSc and PhD at Dnepropetrovsk National University, Ukraine and did a post-doc at University College London building predictive models for the early detection of ovarian cancer.

My work is mainly focused on the evaluation of the national breast and bowel cancer screening programmes as well as estimating the amount of over diagnosis in mammography screening.  I am also involved in the development of the urine biomarker panel for the early detection of pancreatic cancer.
