My research, funded by a studentship from Barts Charity, explores the impact and role of interpretation in the diagnostic pathways for non-specific cancer symptoms for Chinese in London. I am supervised by Dr Georgia Black, Prof Deborah Swinglehurst, and Prof Katriina Whitaker. I hold a BA (Hons) in English Language from the National University of Singapore and an MA in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
