Profile

I am an NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow in the Centre for Primary Care. My research involves working with people living with dementia and their families and friends at home using linguistic ethnographic and participatory approaches. I am interested in the interactions between people with dementia and their informal carers, focussed on the topic of medicines management at home.

I have a background in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC registered) and my interest in conversation where one person has atypical communication has developed from my clinical work. I continue to work as an honorary SLT for Whittington NHS Trust.
