Profile

I am a PhD student at the Health Economics and Policy Research Unit (HEPRU). My area of study is Economic evaluation of Digital Health Interventions. I have previously done an MRes in Health Data Science in Practice (QMUL) and MSc Clinical Research (UEA). My background is in Physiotherapy.

My research interests also include chronic disease management including cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases, health inequalities, ethnic disparities in health and rehabilitation.

I completed my MRes in Health Data in Practice in 2022 which is part of the 4-year PhD program funded by Wellcome Trust. My MRes dissertation involved modelling the impact of Cardiovascular Events – Stroke, Myocardial Infarction and Coronary Revacularisation events, on Health-related Quality of Life in R program using UKBiobank data. I have also done an MSc in Clinical Research from University of East Anglia in 2020 where my dissertation was a Systematic Review of psychometric properties of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale for Stroke survivors. My undergrad training is in Physiotherapy and I have practiced in Kashmir (2021) and Bangalore-India (2019).
