Profile

I am a Research Fellow with experience of behaviour change interventions. I completed my PhD in 2014 at the Wolfson Institute and have continued to work there since, developing and conducting research on smoking cessation, and novel weight management approaches such as intermittent fasting. My work forms part of the Health & Lifestyle Research Unit at the Centre for Public Health & Policy, and my background is in Health Psychology.

 

Research

Research Interests:

  • Electronic cigarettes for smoking cessation/harm reduction
  • Health outcomes and relapse rates associated with long term use of e-cigarettes
  • Nicotine delivery and user reactions to different types of e-cigarettes and other novel nicotine delivery devices
  • Developmental trajectory of dual users of e-cigarettes and conventional cigarettes
  • Intermittent fasting approaches e.g. 5:2 diet and time restricted eating for weight loss
