Profile

I am a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Centre for Primary Care at the WIPH. I am a qualitative researcher, specialising in ethnography. I am currently working on a project understanding how complex medical innovation happens and can become of benefit to patient populations. To do this I am observing how different groups come together to understand their roles within a large and diverse project, with the aim of creating new medical technology. I completed my PhD in the School of Business and Management at QMUL, where I investigated how trust emerged in practice in clinical trials.

I have taught across a range of modules, with my focus being on innovation. I am an Associate Fellow of the HEA.
