Profile

I am a GP working in Hackney and a research fellow with the Clinical Effectiveness Group in the Centre for Primary Care. My interests are primarily in prevention, particularly cardiovascular and renal disease and I have led the development of services and health care improvements as CVD/CKD clinical lead in North East London. In 2019, I completed a Masters in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

I have undertaken research across cardiovascular disease, including hypertension, cholesterol, cost effectiveness analyses, as well as ethnic differences in disease prevalence. Currently, I am looking at Familial Hypercholesterolaemia and risk prediction algorithms, supported by an NIHR Career Progression Fellowship.
