We have received a good report from the trainers delivering the first sessions in Cambodia.
These sessions took place in Kampong Chhnang City High School, on 27th December 2025 and at Siem Reap in 10 Makara High School on 21st December 2025.
The trainers reported that students were interested and actively engaged throughout the session. They found that the topics and content of the session were very important. They especially liked the outdoor session (each topic has an indoor 'teaching' session, and an outdoor activity session).
The trainers also liked the topic being covered. However, they found that some activities, like the "Stop, Slow down, Think, Act" technique for dealing with intense emotions was new to them and they needed to be more prepared and some support from the research team before they could do it well.
The trainers were very active in the sessions. They spent time to develop and design the lesson, following the content provided in the manual. They also said they have learned from this preparation and discussion among their team. They report that the topic was very significant and needed at their school.
