Early Diagnosis

We have a substantial programme of work in primary care, again with an emphasis on inequalities. Results include shortcomings in doctor-patient communication and safety netting in men with potential prostate cancer symptoms, specifically in black and Asian men, and substantial increases in times to cancer diagnosis in the presence of multimorbidity. Further, comorbidities which might be alternative explanations for symptoms were associated with late stage presentation of bladder cancer.
