Teaching

The QMUL Astronomy Unit has a full undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme, which utilises our wide-ranging research expertise to offer taught modules and research projects at the forefront of astronomy and astrophysics.

Undergraduate

BSc/MSci Astrophysics

Specialise in the topic of astrophysics, whilst gaining the same wide range of physics knowledge and skills as our physics degree.

Postgraduate

MSc Astrophysics (full time or part time)

A one or two year postgraduate course (one year full-time, two year part-time) consisting of eight taught modules and a research project in which you can extend and deepen your knowledge across different areas of astrophysics as well as explore one area in depth during the project.

Postgraduate Certificate in Astronomy and Astrophysics (Part-time 9 months)

A nine-month programme taken part-time, consisting of four modules (two in each semester).
