What advice would you give to new students thinking about studying with us?
If you are thinking about joining us in SLLF, I would recommend you properly read through your course and programme descriptions, so you know what to expect.
Why did you choose to study at QMUL?
The film studies programme and London as a city drew me to QMUL.
What attracted you to your programme?
The possibility to do practical film production modules while also doing film studies modules attracted me to the film studies course.
What do you enjoy the most about your programme?
The variety of module options and specific interests that the course allows me to explore as a student.
How do you think studying your degree is helping you to reach your future career goals?
I think that studying film studies has allowed me to open my mind in ways that will benefit me in a film career.
How do you like to spend your time away from your studies?
Spending time with friends I've made at university or participating in one Queen Mary's many societies.
What you would like to do after you finish your studies?
Work in film production.
Do you have any advice for students moving to/ studying in London?
Make sure to enjoy the city! London is a fascinating place with a captivating history that is begging to be explored.
