We combine cutting-edge network science approaches with neuroscientific multi-user neuroimaging (i.e. hyperscanning), genetics, and animal behavioural approaches. Mathematical network approaches are combined with human neuroscience, genetics and animal behavioural experiments to advance our knowledge on how social interactions affect creativity and innovation in several levels. We approach collaborative creativity from a systems perspective since group innovation is not a simple sum /combination of the individuals working on it.
