My thesis aims to investigate whether Interactive Entertainment and video game are eligible for dedicated protection in terms of rights for gamers. The drafting of gamers' bill of right is my thesis final achievement and each right will represent one of the main legal challenges occurring within Interactive Entertainment industry.
Biography
Salvatore Fasciana is graduated in Law with the University of Palermo. He took an LLM in Media Law with the Queen Mary University of London and he is currently Interactive Entertainment Law PhD Candidate & Teaching Associate at Queen Mary University of London. He also works as a Data Protection Of Counsel providing data protection and DPO consultancy. Experienced in Privacy Law, Media law and international Intellectual Property Law. His work at Queen Mary includes:
- Teaching associate for IP and business, Commercialisation of IP, and Trade Secret
- Research Assistant for Interactive Entertainment law
- Collaborator with Cloud Legal Project for Cloud Gaming
