Profile

I am one of the Teaching Associates at qLegal, the award-winning commercial law clinic at Queen Mary University of London. I coordinate the qLegal Externships Programme, which places postgraduate law students with early-stage innovative ventures. I am responsible for recruiting students and host organisations, training the externs and coordinating the placements.

I am a dual-qualified lawyer, qualified in Türkiye and, since June 2026, as a Solicitor of England and Wales. Before joining qLegal, I worked in private practice in Istanbul, advising clients on commercial contracts, compliance and disputes, with a focus on the aviation and energy sectors.

I hold an LLM in Energy and Climate Change Law from Queen Mary, where I focused on construction contracts and investment arbitration in the energy industry.
