Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre Visits Hugh Wooding Law School

In November 2023 the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC) continued the exchange programme with the Hugh Wooding Law Schol (HWLS) of Trinidad and Tobago. Our Director Frances Ridout and Public Legal Education and Street Law Manager Meghan Mizen took two undergraduate law students to visit HWLS and emerge themselves in the clinical legal education of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre hosted the first ever Southern England School Tasking Regional Final. This brought together four teams, from 4 primary schools in Southern England, to compete for a spot at the Champions of Champions School Tasking Final in Warwick later this year.

Empowering students through legal workshops on the Sharing and Publishing of Images to Embarrass (SPITE)

In response to the growing issue of the sharing of intimate images the across the youth, the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre delivers workshops in various schools across London to empower and educate young people in this area.
