Other ITS Equipment
Most IT items should be purchased directly through the IT Services self-service portal. However, some peripherals and accessories are available for colleagues to purchase via the e-marketplace in Agresso.
Cables and adapters
Chargers (laptop, tablet, mobile phone, accessories)
How to request: For standard devices either replacements or additional please raise a ticket in the Self-Service Portal. If additional, or non-standard are required, then please purchase via e-marketplace (Agresso)
How is it funded: ITS funded – one per staff member. If additional or non-standard, locally by department.
Other information: Where a charger is faulty it is possible we may be entitled to a replacement from our supplier. To be eligible the charger must be the one which was assigned to the laptop and issued within a certain date. Please highlight this on your ticket when making a request to replace a broken item.
Headphones, earphones and headsets
How to request: These items are provided to staff members when they join Queen Mary along with their laptop device – you can request these items by raising a ‘new starter request’ in the Self-Service Portal. If additional, or non-standard are required, then please purchase via e-marketplace (Agresso)
How is it funded: ITS funded – one per staff member. If additional or non-standard, locally by department.

Keyboards, including wireless
How to request: Standard keyboards are provided per desk in working spaces. Replacements can be picked up from one of our collection sites – there is no need to raise a ticket. If additional, or non-standard are required, then please purchase via e-marketplace (Agresso)

Mice, including wireless

Screens - standard PC monitors, TV screens, LED displays
Basic peripherals (chargers, mice, headphones and keyboards) can be collected from pickup points, without charge. Staff do not need to raise a ticket in advance but any items collected will be recorded by CCS.
Please note, ITS cannot support with the procurement of the following items:
- Standard batteries (such as AA, AAA)
- Cameras and video cameras
- Computer consoles and games
- Microscopes
