Profile

Hajar received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (Iran) in 2008. She completed her Master of Science (MSc) in Transportation Engineering in Iran University of Science and Technology in 2011. After 3 years working as a consultant engineer at Sharan Transportation Research Centre in Tehran, Iran, she started her PhD programme at University College London on vehicle emission modelling in 2015. She continued her research for 1 year at UCL as a research fellow after completion of PhD in 2019, focusing on transport and air quality. She joined the Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG) in September 2020 as a senior data analyst. Her work is mainly about extracting and managing data, data analysis and statistical modelling.

Research Interests:

Real Health (Respiratory)

The REAL-HEALTH Respiratory initiative focuses on improved primary care management of common respiratory conditions with an initial focus on asthma.The aim is to improve identification of patients who are at higher risk of hospital admission due to their asthma.
