About the speaker

Gianpaolo Baiocchi is a sociologist and ethnographer and one of the founders of the participatory budgeting project in Brazil. He is the head of Gallatin’s Urban Democracy Lab.

The event was organised in conjunction with Queen Mary Latin American Network (QMLAN) and Latin American Geographies in the UK (LAG-UK)
