Graduation Ceremonies

Winter Graduation for Postgraduate Students

Book your tickets and gown here.

 

How to book your Graduation tickets:

  • Please follow this link to the Your Graduation website.
  • Once on the Your Graduation website, type "Queen Mary University of London" into the search box.
  • Select your ceremony.
  • Once selected, please book your student ticket.
  • Please select if you would like to purchase a Graduation programme.
  • Once booked, please book your gown. Please note that all students are required to be in academic dress when they graduate.
  • Then please book any guest tickets and specify if you would like to know if anymore tickets become available.
  • Finally, please add on photography package if you wish.
  • If you have a query please access FAQs here or contact the Graduation team at graduation@qmul.ac.uk.

Graduation programmes will be for sale when Graduation bookings are open. This includes if any extra tickets become available for purchase (please note, this cannot be guaranteed for any ceremony). Once bookings are closed, programmes will be available to purchase again on the day of your ceremony.

Graduation programmes are a booklet that includes the order that graduands graduate in.

 

Please note that ticket sales will close on 31 October 2022. 

 

Postgraduate ceremonies are confirmed to be taking place between 5 and 10 January 2023. Eligible students are encouraged to keep an eye on their emails and on this webpage for further updates.

 

If you are not receiving updates via your university email address but you do believe you are eligible, please request to be added to the mailing list by contacting graduation@qmul.ac.uk. Please note these emails can enter your junk / spam folder, so please check in here also.

 

If your school / institute has been split into 2 parts, please scroll down to below the schedule to see more detail on which courses will be graduating in each.

 

If you are unsure of which ceremony you will be Graduating in, please follow the below steps:

  1. Google your course followed by QMUL to find your online course webpage
  2. Under the About the Institute / School section on your course webpage, you will be able to find your school or institute name
  3. Check the schedule on our website - https://www.qmul.ac.uk/graduation/graduation-ceremonies/
  4. If your course is split into multiple parts, please scroll down below the schedule to see a detailed description of which courses will be graduating in each ceremony

Yearly Ceremony Periods

Queen Mary deliver three ceremony periods a year. Please see below to see which ceremony period you will fall in based on your award level and circumstance.

Winter - Dates vary between December and January (excluding college closure days)

These ceremonies are primarily for September intake postgraduate students and postgraduate research students.

Undergraduate students who have completed summer re-sits and deferral students are also invited to join these ceremonies.

 

Spring - Dates vary around April (excluding bank holidays for Easter)

These ceremonies are primarily for January intake postgraduate students and postgraduate research students.

September intake postgraduate students who have completed re-sits and deferral students are also invited to join these ceremonies.

 

Summer - Dates vary mid-end of July

These ceremonies are primarily for undergraduate students and postgraduate research students.

January intake postgraduate students who have completed re-sits and deferral students are also invited to join these ceremonies.
