Graduation Ceremonies

Upcoming Graduation Ceremonies Information

Winter ceremonies (primarily for Postgraduate students, PGR students and Undergraduate students who have deferred) will take place from  Tuesday 9 - Friday 12 January 2024. More information, including schedules for specific schools/ institutes, will be released soon, please keep an eye on this web page.

Graduation Fund

The Graduation Fund aims to support Queen Mary students who are facing financial hardship with the cost of graduation. The fund covers the cost of cap and gown hire and is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

It primarily aims to support students who otherwise could not afford the cost of attending graduation and we particularly encourage applications from students not in contact with their family (estranged), students who are parents or carers and students from lower income backgrounds.

Applications

Applications for the January Graduation Fund will open on Wednesday 27 September and close on Monday 23 October.

Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept late applications. While we aim to support as many students as possible, we often receive a high volume of applications and cannot guarantee all applicants will receive funding. If you have any questions about the Grad Fund please email su-representation@qmul.ac.uk

Past ceremonies- Summer 2023

Summer 2023 graduation ceremonies took place between 17 and 28 July 2023.

If you have any questions about the ceremonies, please email graduation@qmul.ac.uk. If you have any questions about your pictures or clip of me, please email info@yourgraduation.co.uk. If you have any questions about certificates please visit the Student Enquiry Centre’s Degree Certificate webpage, or email studentenquiry@qmul.ac.uk
