Call for Activities

Festival of Communities Saturday 8 June 2024. The words rest on a background of pale blue sky and green hills with trees, tents, bunting, and the tall beige Queen Mary clock tower. in the foreground are small figures enjoying the Festival, a squirrel and a butterfly.

Queen Mary is looking for staff and students across all subjects and Schools and Institutes to propose ideas of activities they would like to run at the Festival of Communities on Saturday 8th June 2024.

The activities at the Festival are designed for local families to learn something new or try something different, and to provide an opportunity for everyone involved to meet and interact with people they haven’t met before. These varied activities will need to be table-top based but could be hands-on, demonstrations, stalls, sharing stories and views, or another way – we’re open to different ideas!
