School of Physical and Chemical Sciences is sorry to learn of the loss of Grenville Davey, Artist in Residence at in Physics 2011-2014.

Davey's time at Queen Mary University of London's Centre for Theoretical Physics (formally, Centre for Research in String Theory), working with physicist Professor David Berman to find parallels between string theory's theoretical geometries and Davey's own long-standing interest in symmetry.
