Title: Black Holes and the Information Paradox

Malcolm Perry

The aim of the lectures is to explain the fundamental physics of black
holes and intoduce the new ideas of soft hair and its relation to the
information paradox. I will assume a knowledge of general relativity at the
level of an introductory course. The precise level of assumed knowledge
will be determined only by a survey of those at the first lecture.
