The SKETCH Programme

What is SKETCH? 

SKETCH is Queen Mary’s award-winning student knowledge exchange programme. Our students work directly with local businesses, individuals and community partners to solve real-world problems, by delivering services such as workshops, training, advisory clinics and consultancy-style projects. 

The programme has four guiding principles:

Employability:

Boosting employability outcomes for our students and providing organisations with access to future talent.

Interdisciplinarity:

Providing students with high-level skills development and organisations access to complex problem-solving. 

Inclusivity:

Enabling access and opportunities for a diverse pool of students and organisations.

Local Rootedness:

Supporting the local East London community and beyond.
