Background

Queen Mary takes its responsibilities to staff and students seriously and BCM enables our University to continue to operate in the event of an disruption. It is essential that we are able to effectively manage unexpected events to protect our staff and students, reputation and operations.

BCM allows us to recover key business activities to a pre-defined level within an identified timeline. It is essential that we able to effectively manage unexpected events to protect our reputation and operations.

Your role and your Business Continuity Champion

Everyone has a part to play and we want you to be aware of what that means for you. Make it your business to know who your Business Continuity Champion is; who owns your department’s Business Continuity Plan. Be aware of anything specific that you need to know or do in the event of an incident.
